As important as the role of humor may be to our health and happiness, there's a prescription that is far more powerful and far more important—and that's the role of God in our lives, both now and for eternity. We hope you enjoy the following quotes and observations and that they will serve as a reminder of the Creator of it all. ? The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. ? Don't let the work of the Lord get in the way of the Lord of the work! ? If God would concede to me His omnipotence for twenty-four hours, you would see how many changes I would make in this world. But if He gave me His wisdom too, I would leave things the way they are. ? Preach the gospel; if necessary, use words. ? Church is not a once-a-week activity; it's a lifestyle. Jesus is not a once-a-week relationship; He's a heartstyle. ? Every Christian should be so high on Jesus that every time a mosquito bites, he leaves singing, "There is Power in the Blood!" ? Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5 ? Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8 As the beginning of the series quoted, "Attitude is everything – pick a good one!" It impacts every facet of your life, as well as the lives of those around you.
